What happened with Bithumb and Bitcoin payouts?

So apparently, during a promo called "Random Box," Bithumb messed up big time. Instead of giving out small rewards in Won, they accidentally credited hundreds of users with 2,000 BTC each. Like, how does that even happen? Panic selling ensued, and the BTC price took a hit before they froze everything. Crazy times.

This is wild. Free Bitcoin for hundreds of people? What a blunder! Initially, they meant to send a few thousand Won, and then bam, it's thousands of BTC instead. I mean, how do you screw that up? But then again, it shows how internal mistakes can shake up prices on an exchange.
