So today marks 15 years since Satoshi emailed Mike Hearn, saying he’s moved on to other things. That was his last public message. What do you all think he meant? Has he just vanished completely?
What do you think Satoshi moved on to?

I wonder what those 'other things' could be. Honestly, nothing has really topped Bitcoin since its launch. Did he mean the project was done or that others could handle it?
Maybe he just wanted to focus on his personal life? That line was meant for Mike Hearn, and we don’t even know if he said anything else privately.
We still have no clue who Satoshi is, so what makes us think we could ever guess what he moved on to? For all we know, he could be behind a privacy coin or something.
Nah, I don’t think it matters what he’s doing. Bitcoin is the main thing, and he clearly left us with that. We shouldn’t obsess over every detail.
You’re wrong. Clearly, you don’t get what Satoshi was about. He was a master of misdirection. He didn’t just vanish for no reason. There’s gotta be something deeper.

I get that, but honestly, it’s kinda fascinating that he dropped Bitcoin and left us hanging. I mean, how did he not disappear with it?

Speculation, that's all this is. Satoshi left and Bitcoin has been running fine since. People just need to chill.
I don’t just take that email at face value. There are better ways to analyze his absence, like looking at his Bitcoin address. Nothing has moved from there since he left.

Yeah, but how do we even know if he’s still the one behind any new projects? Even if he did create something new, how would we know it’s him?

You’re speculating too. What if he just had personal stuff to take care of? Family issues or something? We’ll never know.
And if he’s still around, he could be in the government or something. But I doubt he’s dead, that email suggests he planned to step back.
Just curious, do you know Satoshi personally? Because it sounds like you’re claiming to know what he’s thinking. That’s kinda bold.
It’s possible he’s working on something completely unrelated to crypto. He was probably involved in a lot of things.
Right? It could be something boring or completely mundane, like a day job. Who knows?
Considering we only know him as Satoshi, he could be living a normal life now. But what a mystery, right?

Before he left, he clearly didn’t want to be found. So moving on to other things probably meant he wanted out of the spotlight.
I'm betting he just wanted to spend more time with family. But yeah, he probably left a huge impact with Bitcoin.
Exactly! Maybe he just felt secure enough with Bitcoin that he didn’t need to be around anymore.
Lol yeah, think of it this way. If he did come back with something better than Bitcoin, it might ruin everything for us.
