Vitalik Buterin just dropped some thoughts on crypto regulation, especially in the US. He’s saying it’s a mess. So get this, if you’re doing something totally useless or just vague about what you’re offering, you’re in the clear. But if you actually explain how returns work and what rights people have, boom, you’re labeled a security and it’s all over for you. Sounds like this whole system is pushing us towards chaos instead of helping the space grow.
It’s kinda wild to think that being clear about your project can backfire so badly. Makes you wonder how many legit projects get crushed just because they’re trying to play by the rules. What do you all think?
