Unleashing the Antminer S23 Hyd 3U: The New Behemoth of Mining

Just saw this new Antminer S23 Hyd 3U, claiming 1160 TH/s. Crazy! Right now it's pulling in around €65 a day, but who knows if that's gonna hold up after release.

Anyone know if it'll support new coins that pop up?

This feels way too commercial... like, come on.

That 3-phase 415 volts and liquid cooling setup is something else. I run S21XP at 12-13 watts. My place is all air-cooled, 270 volts on a single phase. 415 volts isn’t happening here. Perfect for a big mining farm or someone with a ton of solar.

Right? Air-cooled is so much simpler and cheaper. But liquid cooling could be useful. Imagine heating your house or a greenhouse with that waste heat. Could be a solid move for those in colder areas!

My buddy buysolar has a sweet 110kw solar setup. If he gets a 3-phase inverter, he'd be able to heat his home and run an S23 hydro. He could flip his S21 and GPU rig for one of these monsters.

Thinking of a DIY radiator to water cool a single hashboard. UK electricity costs make mining tough, but as a heater at 300-800 watts, it could be cool. Summer now, but winter will hit!

Yeah, making an S21XP single board isn’t a bad idea. It can hit 45TH to 92TH at about 12-14 watts.

I couldn’t find a decent hashboard last winter in the UK. Got any leads, Philip? Someone should design a system to plug these miners into existing heating setups. That’s the future.

For real! The S21XP hashboard costs about $2500 but can drop to 12 watts if the temp's right. Building a one-card rig is pricey too. Just sold one on eBay, but shipping to the UK kills the price.

The Avalon Q home miner is interesting too. It can get down to 15.5 J/TH but only hits 45 TH/s on quiet mode. Not bad performance-wise, kinda rivals Antminer S21.
