😂 So we got a broken NerdQaxe++ Rev 6 for repair. We plug it in, wait a bit... and bam, BLOCK FOUND. No smoke, no drama, just unexpected luck.

That's wild. But who gets the reward? Does it go to the original owner or you guys since you were using your power?

Right? Feels strange. I mean, the wallet was probably still set up for the owner. If nothing changed, wouldn't they get the reward? Sounds like a lucky break for them, tbh.

I think giving some reward to the original owner would be cool, especially if they were honest about the RMA. Maybe a discount on the repair or something. But what block was it? That's kinda historic for you.

Haha, plot twist alert! The device was reset, so it used default settings. The block reward actually went to the NerdQaxe developer. Not us or the customer, but the dev! We used their miner on our juice and handed over a block. 😂

That is pretty cool. I wonder how many other blocs have been solved using that address? Surely the developer will be happy to get some free coins and probably quite surprised as well. Kudos for not inputting your own wallets while repairing/testing customer equipment (although if you exchanged the unit it was already yours).

Still getting messages about this post — wild. Quick question for the community: has anyone here actually solo mined a block themselves at home? Curious how many in this thread have tried or come close. We see a lot of solo mining customers at mineshop— the lottery ticket angle is real and the community around it is great.

So did it find a block, or not? Could it be the "BLOCK FOUND" message was part of the reason to RMA the device?
