I created this thread mainly for newcomers to crypto. It’s super important to grasp the three main types of analysis: fundamental analysis, technical analysis, and on-chain analysis.

Focusing on fundamentals is key. If a project has solid fundamentals, it’s got real value. Technical and on-chain analyses kinda lag behind, chasing after what’s already happened, while the intrinsic value might not even be there.

For sure, understanding all three is key. You gotta know how to trade and speculate effectively. Combining these analyses helps to see the bigger picture of market performance and what to expect.

Each analysis is valuable, but when you mix them, it really packs a punch for any trader or investor. Sure, investors don't need to dive deep into technicals, but knowing them is still helpful.

Every analysis has its pros and cons. We can get a fuller picture of market conditions if we acknowledge that. It’s not just data; it’s about market behavior too. If you can’t read market movements, knowing the theory won’t do much.

Wait, you’re mixing up crypto analysis with company analysis. If you’re doing fundamental analysis on ETH, you should look at the Ethereum Foundation, right? Different analyses consider different factors.

Most investors lean on fundamental analysis for long-term investments. They want to ensure they’re putting their money into something with great future potential. Technicals are more for traders looking for quick gains.

Technical analysis is pretty popular in crypto trading. But why not expand our toolkit? Adding fundamental analysis can only help us, right?

I lean more towards fundamentals for my market analysis. Technicals? Not really my strong suit. But whatever works for you is what matters, even if it's just holding.

Honestly, on-chain analysis feels overrated. It’s basically part of fundamental analysis. No need to complicate things with fancy names; just stick to the basics.

I appreciate your focus on these analyses for beginners. But don’t forget about risk and emotional management. They are key for trading success.

On-chain analysis seems complex. I doubt I could afford the necessary data sources since I’m just retail. I focus on technical and some fundamentals; it does the trick for me.

On-chain indicators can be manipulated. It's still a valid analysis, but it’s not foolproof. Long-term growth with strong coins like Bitcoin makes for a smoother journey.

Fundamental analysis is for long-term believers. Technical analysis is for traders, relying on charts and patterns. On-chain analysis? Those who prefer that look at activity on the blockchain.

Some on-chain data is hard to access. Most platforms don’t share it freely. You can get general data, but premium insights cost. It’s tricky.

I find it awesome that all three analyses are recognized. Many overlook the value of on-chain data. Using all three gives a more complete view.

Getting full on-chain data is expensive. I’ve seen platforms like DUNE, but it costs a lot. Might be better to subscribe for detailed analytics.

On-chain analysis is only useful for solid projects like Bitcoin. For shitcoins, it’s pretty much worthless. Too many bots distort real transactions.

Not sure on-chain analysis fits here. It feels more like compliance tracking than a trading tool. Listing it alongside technical and fundamental feels off.
