Checking out the latest Bitcoin chart, looks like it's hitting that growth zone we saw post Trump's election. Remember when he hyped up crypto and promised to make it mainstream? Everyone got super excited and prices shot up. But then, right after he got sworn in, the sell-off kicked in. Crazy how that works.

Honestly, I feel like you’re reading too much into Trump here. Bitcoin has its own traditions and values that people seem to forget. I mean, Trump didn’t really boost Bitcoin while in office. He’s just another politician looking to cash in on the hype and grab some attention. Fake bitcoiner vibes all the way.

Right? It’s wild how many people thought prices would just go up and up. A lot of big holders seem to have flipped the script, selling off and manipulating options like it’s their plaything. Feels like the market is way more influenced by them than by regular retail investors now. Kinda sad.

Yeah, November really opened eyes about the market. It felt fishy with that crash. Big players have been silent since then, and it feels like something's brewing. Retail investors are on high alert, ready to hit the sell button if things go sideways again. That volatility is just nuts.

I was super anxious about institutional investors jumping into bitcoin after the ETF was approved. Made me think maybe they’d start manipulating the market instead of just buying and holding. This market feels broken, especially when people pay more attention to politics than to actual crypto fundamentals.

Totally! Trump’s just opened the door for leaders to exploit crypto for their gain. It’s happening in places like Argentina and El Salvador too. Crypto's becoming a money machine for corrupt leaders, and that can’t end well. MicroStrategy borrowing funds to buy BTC is just a Ponzi scheme waiting to blow.

Looks like we’re entering a phase where institutions control the market now. I was hoping for organic growth, but with companies like BlackRock unloading their Bitcoin, it’s concerning. Gold and Silver are hitting new highs while BTC keeps dropping. Just doesn't add up.

Gotta blame the investors who jumped into BTC just because of Trump’s promises. They’re the ones panicking every time he tweets. It’s like they never heard of DYOR. If you want to invest in Bitcoin, do it because you believe in it, not because a politician said so.

People really need to think for themselves. They believed Trump’s empty words and now regret it. When the market dips, they freak out and sell without knowing the basics of Bitcoin. Makes their losses permanent, and it's just a shame.

Exactly! It’s like they expect every word from these politicians to be gospel. I get that they’re looking for innovation with their support for Bitcoin but they’re just being used for personal gains. A lot of manipulation going on.

From what I recall, retail investors fueled that insane growth back in 2017, not institutional money. It was regular folks diving into Bitcoin and altcoins. Comparing that to today’s market with big players is like apples and oranges.

Same thoughts here. After Trump got elected, the whole market felt different. It's like institutions have taken control with their tariffs and aggressive strategies against Bitcoin. We really shouldn’t rely on these power players too much.

Can’t agree more. Trump’s presidency didn’t really link to Bitcoin's rally back then. People just forget that he was against it initially. Not surprised he’s playing nice now for votes, though. Politicians gonna be politicians, right?

Definitely, the economist Nouriel Roubini has pointed out how Bitcoin’s growth ties to USDT issuance. Interesting how the Trump tax laws impacted that. Also, Japan making BTC a legal payment helped in 2017. What’s your take on what really drove the market then?

A lot of chatter about institutions cashing out before the year’s up, calling themselves long-term investors. If you’re not holding for years, you’re speculating, plain and simple. Don’t act like you’re in it for the long haul.

True. It’s surprising how many can’t see through the smoke. Trump’s first term wasn’t a boost for Bitcoin, yet people are acting like he's the savior. Such a political game, and folks really need to be more aware of it.
