Honestly, this isn’t news to anyone. UK is basically a haven for dirty money. While the rest of the world deals with shady business, UK banks have been using fractional reserve banking like it’s their job. Now that the financial situation is shaky, the elite’s just trying to save their own skin. British citizens want wealth, and they don’t care where it comes from; they’d prefer dark markets over a bad economy any day.

Yeah but isn’t stealing oil and bombing fishing boats a bit extreme? If Trump really wanted to tackle drug trafficking, he’d focus on Ecuador. Their president’s family has been caught smuggling before, but since they’re US allies, it’s all just brushed off. As long as you play nice with Trump, you can get away with anything. Classic double standards.
Totally agree. Trump’s not really fighting a drug war; he just wants a puppet in Venezuela to get easy access to their resources. You think Trump’s out to hurt the wealthy? He’s a billionaire himself. Rich folks are key to the economy, and they’re not dumb; they’ll find ways around taxes. Bad decisions from the government hit poor people the hardest. It’s always the lower class that suffers.

If I recall right, Trump was sentenced to 45 years for that whole thing and fined a huge amount. Meanwhile, he pardoned the ex-Honduran president who’s been linked to tons of drug shipments. It's all just a cover for him to meddle in Venezuela, honestly. No real war on drugs happening here.
You mean those fishermen affected by Trump's attacks? That’s not even about drug operations. In reality, intelligence shows there aren’t any drug operations in Venezuela. The real cash flow and laundering is happening through US banks, not UK ones. It’s all been a farce, really.
