I used to jump back in after a loss, thinking I could get my money back fast. That was pure anger, not strategy. Revenge trading just made everything worse for me. Now, I take a step back when I’m hit. Do you fight back or take a breather?
Trading ETH: Emotions and Strategies

I stick to longer trades. I don’t mess with those small timeframes. I sell when I think it's hot, and wait for the bear market after the peak to get back in. I find that way, I can make better profits. Playing the short game feels like roulette to me.
Totally agree. Short timeframes are rough. I prefer daily and 4-hour charts. They give a better idea of price direction, whether it's Bitcoin or others. Sure, it’s not foolproof, but way less risky than what the short-term traders face.
Yeah man, if you’re down, just stop trading. Revenge trading just leads to more losses. You can’t let emotions take over. I’m glad you learned to step back when things aren’t going right.
Absolutely, having a risk strategy is key. Emotional trades lead to bad decisions. I’ve looked at Ethereum’s charts, and it’s been uptrend lately. So, how exactly are people still losing?
I got wrecked earlier this year because I was revenge trading after a loss. It was going well until tariffs hit, and then the market crashed for a couple of months. Lesson learned, I'm working on controlling my emotions.
Best advice is to cool off before jumping back in. Chasing profits can exhaust you and lead to bad decisions. Taking a break can help you see things clearer in your trades.
I used to be all about fighting the market in my early days. After digging into trading psychology, I learned to step back after losses, and it helped reduce my daily trades.

If you’re panicking, you’re not ready to trade. Reassess your strategy and learn from mistakes. Trading needs emotional strength. If you sell out of fear, you’ll get nowhere. Just keep at it, and you’ll learn from your experiences.
