Thoughts on Thailand's New Travel Fee

Starting February 2026, Thailand's gonna charge a 300 baht fee for all tourists arriving by air, land, or sea. That's around 9 bucks. Seems low to me, especially when part of it covers medical insurance. What do you guys think about this?
