Anyone here who bought BTC thinking it would hit $150k to $180k feeling alright now?
Thoughts on Buying BTC at ATH and Current Market Drop
20 replies 392 views
Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed. A drop of 30-35% is rough. But hey, I guess I can just accumulate more BTC while the price is down... right?
It's definitely not as easy as it sounds. I mean, what if prices keep dropping towards the 60s or 70s? 🤔 That’d just add to the frustration.
For sure. If this is the start of a bear market, it could take forever to break even. Buying at all-time highs is risky, no doubt.

You see, what might be poison for one could be nourishment for another. If you were expecting to sell high, you're probably disappointed now. But real HODLers should know better, right?
Totally! If you're in this for the long haul, then these price drops are just part of the game. It really sucks to see losses but panicking helps no one.
I'm fine with the current drop. It’s all part of BTC's nature. I just plan to hold tight and keep buying when it dips.

Right? If you’ve got a long-term plan, then waiting for those $150k to $180k levels isn’t going to stress you out. Just keep stacking those sats.
Invest at your own risk, folks. If you bought at the top, be ready for the lows. Never put in what you can't afford to lose.
But it’s not enough to just hold long-term. You gotta be smart about it. If you buy at $95K and wait years for a small profit, that’s not ideal.
Honestly, it hurts to watch your portfolio drop 30-35%. Yet here we are, and I’m still not panicking. BTC always bounces back.
The mindset matters! If you bought hoping for a quick spike, of course you're frustrated. If you're in for the long game, it's just volatility.
No one likes seeing red in their portfolio. That's why I don’t recommend buying at ATH... Keep it simple: buy low, sell high.
BTC hitting that $150k mark is possible but probably not this year. Staying positive and patient is key. Don’t rush to sell!
DCA (dollar-cost averaging) is the way to go! I bought even when prices were high and now I’m thinking about averaging down more.

Smart moves come from the DCA strategy. Buy high, buy low, just keep buying! Long-term investors won’t usually cry over dips.
How can you predict the low point? Seems impossible. Just keep doing DCA until the market recovers.
I get why newcomers are freaking out watching the price drop. It’s a wild ride, but if you've been in this long enough, you get it's just how BTC works.

Disappointment is natural, but don’t stew in it. If you're holding at $110k, it’s time to be patient and wait for that rebound.
Not everyone knows this game. Some might rush to sell when they really shouldn’t. I mean, waiting it out could be way more beneficial.
