Merchants should really think about accepting Bitcoin. Irreversible payments are a huge win, especially for digital goods. But they have to swap BTC for their local currency right away to avoid exchange rate risks.

Why would a merchant bother with Bitcoin if customers don’t want it? It’s all about demand.
