Hey everyone. Back in early 2009, Bitcoin was just 0.001 USD. By the time Obama left office in 2017, it hit 1000 USD. Compared to the next two presidents who only took it up 100 times. Imagine a campaign promise to make everyone rich during his term. Wild, right?

Why are we linking Obama with Bitcoin exactly? Like, he's president, sure, but correlation doesn't mean causation. A lot of people had a chance to be millionaires but just didn't hold on to it. Pretty weird.

Totally agree. It's more about the overall economic situation than any single president. Sure, there's some correlation, but don’t twist political beliefs into it. Just because prices go up doesn’t mean Obama had anything to do with it.

Also, funny how Biden's timing was good for Bitcoin too, huh? Just hours before Trump was sworn in, BTC hit an all-time high. But honestly, all presidents are okay with BTC for me. Didn't ban it, right?

I think you're mixing things up. The currency devaluation is the real issue here, with or without Obama. Every president faces that. Who's gonna solve it? Even Trump, as much as I can't stand him, at least gets Bitcoin. Watching to see how far he takes it.

It's definitely a correlation, and you can't deny it's intriguing. Whether real or not, it's fun to talk about!

You're off. In 2009, Bitcoin was basically worthless. 0.1 cents came later, in 2010. Yeah, people mined early, but it really had no set price then. Political decisions can influence BTC, but it's not the end-all be-all.

Wait, are we suggesting Obama is Satoshi? That's an interesting angle. Many of us thought Bitcoin wouldn’t even hold a price. It’s fascinating how economies can self-destruct while people chase after gains without seeing the bigger picture.

I just don’t see how Obama ties into Bitcoin’s rise. You could say that about any era really. Just because Bitcoin started around his term doesn't mean he influenced it. Plus, it wasn’t even well known back then.

How did Obama impact Bitcoin price? Honestly, Bitcoin was like this hidden gem back then. Political factors? Hardly mattered. It was either gonna boom or fade away clearly, it boomed. Just coincidence, for sure.
