I wanna kick off a Web3 project but starting from zero. No team, no money, just an idea. How do I find and vet devs, designers, or anyone who can help? Trust is a big issue too. How to make sure they don’t just grab the concept and run?

Try building a small MVP first. Share only what’s necessary. Use NDAs and set up clear agreements. Also, check out hackathons and communities for potential team members. Web3 loves incentives, so think about offering equity or tokens instead of just cash.

Thanks a lot @devguy! The MVP idea is solid. I’ll use NDAs and keep things tight. Also, incentives seem key especially since Web3 peeps love airdrops 😂. Anyone else got more tips?

Before anything, make sure your use-case is unique. There's a ton of stuff already out there that might meet your needs. No need to reinvent the wheel unless you've got something truly original. Look into existing solutions first.

Yeah, but the ecosystem needs to support traction for your token. Long-term value is critical. Limited supply can help too. Let’s not forget about keeping an eye on tech developments to dodge issues down the line.

Sounds like you just wanna launch another shitcoin. Your "use case" can probably be handled by Bitcoin, which already solves many issues. Why create a new token unless it's seriously necessary?

I get it, but I’m not trying to make just another coin. I'm serious about building something solid, not just a quick cash grab. This feels like a Genesis moment for me in Web3.

I appreciate your insights. Liquidity and keeping supply in check are key. Tech follow-ups can’t be ignored either. Glad we’re on the same page about that.

Consider posting on job sites for blockchain devs, like GitHub or LinkedIn. Look for candidates with the right skills and within your budget. Finding talent isn’t too tough, making the project profitable? That’s where it gets tricky.

NDA is definitely a must. And yeah, check out sites like X for team building, just watch out for scams. Also, Devcon could be a great place to find folks with a similar vision.

Conferences and meetups can seriously help. I’ve seen co-founders connect at these events. It’s all about building a strong network. You need that to make your project successful, especially for public exposure.

Bringing on a killer team can be pricey. They expect decent pay for their time. Investors are tough to come by too, especially at the idea stage. Maybe start with support from family and friends to create a beta version for showing investors.
