Not really sure what to do next... I see some error margins with my recoveries.
First key: around 4.08% error.
Second key: about 24.6% error.
Both check out with Sig-R. Should I just try to bring it down to 0% or what’s the plan here?
- Nonce checks out
- Hash is from the address
- Z is computed, etc...
Help?
Dealing with Error Margins in Key Recovery

Alright, here's an update on my situation.
- Nonce validated
- Message hash validated
- Two sets of DER S R validated.
I’ve got most of the model down, but I’m stuck on a couple of weird issues. For some reason, it’s not matching up on the backend. The data is good, but signature verification and key recovery are throwing incorrect results.
I’ve swapped out the point verification more times than I can count. And yeah, the P2SH address has some deviation from the data resolve... but the main compressed address... still a mystery.
