Heard there’s this new spending bill that could throw sanctions onto crypto? Seems that some Senate office is chatting with industry insiders about it.

Yeah I saw that. The chance of it passing is pretty slim, but honestly these attempts are just gonna keep coming.

The terrorism accusation is super vague, right? Anyone could be labeled without solid proof. If this part of the bill goes through, it’ll mess things up for the whole crypto space.
Totally. It feels political too. Lots of past attempts like this. The broad definition of terrorism could definitely hurt legit transactions. I’m with you on it being unlikely to pass, but we need to be on guard.
Hey, it’s a bill. Congress is a long road. With lobbying being what it is, support for Trump might smooth things over maybe. But if the anti-crypto lobby is strong, it’s gonna be rough.
Yes.
A. Go check out the Help section, it’s got good info!
B. After you read a bit, throw your questions there.
C. Ditch the bold fonts, looks like yelling, and colors can be hard to read.
Lol, the chances of it actually passing are super tiny. It’s election season, and I’m seeing more crypto folks leaning towards Trump. Maybe Dems will back this if Biden wins again. Old faces like Warren and Yellen are gonna come back swinging against crypto.
Is there really still that kind of thinking about crypto going on? Those who hate it will always be around, but I really hope more people step up for crypto. I wonder how they think they can enforce these sanctions anyway?
@Maus0728. It’s not just backwards thinking. Those in power serve their own interests, not yours. They create laws to control everything, including you.
What are you talking about? You mean the conspiracy theories about the 13 Families and all that? That’s just wild.
@NotFuzzyWarm. Nah, I’m talking about the real players in the game. Billionaires with their own agendas and corrupt politicians who do their bidding. They own everything we have. We work for them.
