Just set up my S19J Pro at home, vented outside to keep it cool. But I messed up... it sucked in snow during a storm. Took it apart and dried it, but now only 1/3 of the hashboards work. Factory reset didn’t help either. I'm a noob in mining, so any troubleshooting tips or where to find parts would be awesome.
S19 Unit Trouble After Snowstorm

About venting... if your unit’s blowing air towards an open window, it might be too close or too far. There’s no perfect spot unless you can create positive pressure in the room. The airflow from the fans can’t fight the negative pressure. If you only have one unit, consider using a properly sized exhaust hose to push air out and keep water away from the unit.
Check the two hashboards that aren’t showing up. Corrosion could be an issue after drying them out. If you need more help, post the kernel logs here in code tags. If you want a tech, contact zeusbtc.com.
Thanks for the tips. I think I narrowed it down to those two hashboards. If I swap cables on the control board, the good one shows as 1, 2, or 3. Cleaned some corrosion, but still only 1/3 showing up. Logs say some ASIC chips aren’t detected.
That makes sense. If it’s only detecting a few ASIC chips, the hashboard might shut down if the count is too low. Could be damaged chips or a cold joint that needs reflowing. If you don’t have the right tools, try a hair dryer on the faulty hashboard for a while and see if it helps. Test them one at a time by disconnecting others.
Quick update sent the boards out for repair. Got them back with the same serial numbers and now the hash rate is solid! Quick question, though they came with stickers on the chips that were fixed. Can I leave those on or will they get too hot?
I doubt the stickers will block airflow... should be fine.
