Hey everyone,
Been thinking a lot about the early days of Bitcoin lately. The Silk Road era was something else, right?
I actually wrote a piece trying to capture that vibe. But I wanna hear from you guys. What was it like for you? Did you ever buy or lose BTC when it was basically nothing? Got any wild stories from that time? Let's share.

Definitely a lot of missed chances back then. I mean, remember the Bitcoin pizza story? Crazy how people didn’t see the value back then. Some got rich, while others just let it slip through their fingers. It’s wild to think what could have been.
Exactly! That’s my whole goal here. I’m not about price talk or regret over missed opportunities. Just genuine nostalgia. I want to collect real stories, the kind that really show what that era was about. So if you have a memory, big or small, let’s hear it!

This has been brought up before, you know? Might wanna search around here for past discussions. You’ll find some cool personal stories. Remember the $10,000 Bitcoin for pizzas? Pretty sure that’s still floating around.
I’m curious if any OGs are still around who used the Silk Road back in 2013. I kinda see it like today’s DeFi and mixers, just in a peer-to-peer way. Both focused on privacy, but the transactions were way different. Who knows what else was sold back then?
