So, nine years ago, Christian Langalis showed up with that epic sign saying "Buy Bitcoin" while Yellen was talking. Can you believe that? Bitcoin was only worth about $2,320 back then.

I can't stop thinking, did Yellen ever buy Bitcoin? Like, it would be wild if she jumped on the bandwagon. Anyone know what she's been up to since then?

Right? Those folks who kicked him out must be feeling pretty dumb right now. Bitcoin's worth so much more than it was back then. They had a chance to invest early and probably regret it.

It's crazy how a 22-year-old had the guts to pull that stunt live on TV. Like, who would have thought that could happen? Back then, promoting Bitcoin was considered kind of silly.

Just found out about this story! Langalis is way more inspiring than a politician making promises for votes. His move was pretty genius and pure no selfish motives, just spreading the word.

No doubt, that was some of the best free marketing ever. No budgets needed, just a bold act at the right time. Imagine standing behind Yellen and doing that.

Did you know he sold that sign for 16 BTC later? Apparently, it was to fund his own startup. Not a public fund but his own thing. Kinda clever, right?

I think we need to celebrate this anniversary somehow, maybe a flash mob or something next year when it hits 10 years. Feels nostalgic, doesn’t it?

Funny how back then Bitcoin seemed expensive. Now it’s like, what were we even thinking?

True! Just a regular dude making waves without big budgets or corporate backing. Just passion for what he believed in.

Crazy that I didn’t know this story until now. People have paid crazy amounts for less important stuff. Maybe I should have charged him for using my avatar!

For real though, I remember telling people Bitcoin was the future back then and they didn’t want to listen. Now look where we are; it's wild how much has changed.

I miss when things like that happened in crypto. Now it's all business suits trying to cash in. Feels like the fun is gone.

Langalis is definitely a key figure in Bitcoin's story. He showed a lot of courage, and I'm sure it opened some eyes to Bitcoin for the first time.

I always thought that image was fake until now. Christian really took a leap of faith there, and it paid off for him.

That moment really encapsulated the clash between new and old money. The Fed and Bitcoin represented such different worlds.

Exactly! Just shows that sometimes, taking bold actions can create real change. He got rewarded for being brave, not just with likes.

I regret not jumping on Bitcoin back in 2017. I thought it was all a scam and missed the chance to invest when it was cheap.

Don’t dwell on the past! Just focus on investing now. Bitcoin's still got potential to grow more, especially with more acceptance.

It's nuts that he got kicked out. Five months later, Bitcoin skyrocketed. I wonder how many people actually looked it up after that.
