New to this whole BTC mining thing... coming from GPU era. What’s the best ASIC miner out there? I just want something durable with fewer issues. Honestly, I feel like GPU mining is basically done for now. The hashrate from those ETH miners is killing everything.

Check out the S19 series, they seem pretty reliable. Canaan units aren’t bad either, but you gotta know how to keep them in good condition. Overclocking is a no-go if you want to avoid issues. Stick with the stock firmware to keep your miner from dying quickly.

I live in Africa, so repairs are tough if anything breaks. I’m really looking for something powerful and I won’t be overclocking. Just want my miner to last. Thanks for the tip, I’ll check out that link.

Just a heads up about those Zionodes... not familiar with them and kinda sketchy if you ask me. Someone mentioned it before, and I noticed they gather IPs on their site. Plus, they look more like a cloud mining rip-off without any real products. If you want something strong, I’d say stick with Canaan units.
