So, with the ceasefire, we've got a wild estimate about the US army's power. Iran got totally wrecked, like, seriously. Their leaders are gone, the new guy is stuck in a printer, and the military is a total wreck. Their air force? Destroyed. Navy? Sleeping with the fishes. Missiles and drones? A joke that fizzled out in a week.
I don't support any regime that kills innocents or abuses women. Seriously, who defends a government that censors its own people? Satoshi must be rolling in his grave.
Not rooting for the Iranian government, but the citizens will suffer most from this war. They’re the ones who’ll deal with the aftermath while the leaders just chill.
I get that, but I'm not about supporting Iran. Civilian casualties are tragic, and yeah, that war isn't good. But I'm not a Trump fan either. That guy had his own agenda.
Yada yada yada! Keep politics out of this. This thread is about the economy, not the protesters or the regime's abuses. Iran's economy is tanking, not some superpower.
This whole Iran war was never really about helping anyone except for political gains. Religion just complicates things more if they wipe each other out, would the world be better off? Short-term damage is real, but they kinda asked for it.
Iran knew their economy would crash, but they fought anyway. Honestly, I think it’ll take them way longer than 12 years to recover. The US and allies will bounce back in no time.
Iran's recovery might actually be quicker than the Soviets after WWII. They have more access to global trade now and foreign aid could speed things up too.
