Lol I definitely back up my wallet.dat each time I do something with it. It's a habit I developed years ago.

Not really! My non-HD wallet keeps a pool of keys that refill automatically, so backups are simple.

But don’t you think descriptor wallets make things easier? You could store a master key and avoid frequent backups.

True but I just like that randomness from my current wallet. And I don’t hold much there anyway.
