Anyone else noticing how Bitcoin's been bouncing around the $70k to $66k range since it dropped from $60k? There was a solid buy surge, but bulls just can't push it past $73k. Now we’re stuck between $66k and $70k.
In response to that, I made some cash but also took some losses. When the market was tanking, I shorted futures and it worked out, but then I messed up my timing around $63k-$64k. The market reversed and hit my stop loss.
I was long on Bitcoin around $63k, caught some nice moves up. But then I got liquidated on a new position I opened last week when the market opened on Monday. Right after that, it surged to $73k. Not upset though, I only lost a bit of my earlier gains. Plenty of long plays available for those willing to risk it.
Risk management is key to avoid nasty liquidations. If you're using low use and seeing gains, remember that profits won’t match those high use trades. Greed can get traders wrecked. I prefer a low use long position with enough capital to protect myself.
Not gonna lie, I struggle to keep track but think I'm doing okay. I'm not day trading much in this consolidation phase, just small trades with minimal use. Waiting for a breakout, whether it's above $70k or below $60k. Small trades are safer right now.
Honestly, I’m not making any profits. I stick to holding, even if I’m not as consistent as I should be. The market's for patient folks. When Bitcoin hit $74k, shorts got wrecked. And with all this geopolitical stuff, it’s impacting prices. Holding feels like the best move now.
I still see potential for shorts. I don’t think we’ve hit bottom yet, might see it dip below the $59k mark. The short-term outlook could be bullish, given the current momentum. Good time for tight stop losses on sell trades.
I bought a little Bitcoin under $66k and saw some unrealized profits as it hit $70k. But it keeps fluctuating. I’m a holder, not really into use like those frequent traders. They’ll probably profit more.
I’m steering clear of Bitcoin trades right now. The market's still consolidating and trading fees are high. I’m focusing on altcoins instead. Their price movements are easier to manage and offer better rewards.
I think Bitcoin’s current price action is creating solid support around $70k. It looks like we’re just moving up in $10k increments, like $60k, $70k, $80k. Just recently, when it hit $70k, it quickly jumped to $73k.
Yeah, I managed to make some profits lately. I shorted and then went long, and when it hit $70k again, it worked out nicely for me. Just started trading again, but keeping it minimal to avoid overtrading.
Bitcoin is super volatile. It can break out or down from any price zone, even after weeks. Sure, trading in a zone is okay, but you gotta be cautious. Believing a zone is safe can backfire big time.
Honestly, I’m not trading much right now. The ongoing war can change market dynamics in an instant. The risk-to-reward ratio just isn’t in my favor, so I’m only buying small amounts when prices dip.
I thought Bitcoin would fall to around $55k, but here we are, still holding around $60k. I’m DCA at $64k and just holding. Prices have risen to $70k, but I’m waiting to see if we break above $74k or if it dips back to $65k.
That range was definitely tradable if you played it right. I caught a few moves buying near $66k and selling closer to $70k. Nothing massive, but sideways markets can be manageable without using use.
In hindsight, it all seems easy, but it’s not. When Bitcoin hit $74k and dropped to $65k, I hesitated to jump in because the sentiment was bearish. I got burned last time I traded at $70k, so I'm wary now. Just hoping for another chance.
