Got locked out of my Paxful account for over three years now. No real explanation, just silence... all my funds are stuck.

Wow, that’s crazy! You should definitely create a thread in the Scam section here. There might be others with the same situation. By the way, did they give you any transaction ID to recover your funds? You’ll need to show the receiving address if you have one.
I feel your pain. Had my Bitcoin frozen there too, took me about 2 years to finally get it back. Honestly, it’s such a mess no reason for it to drag on this long. They need a serious shake-up, maybe a lawyer involved.
Appreciate the support! But no transaction IDs or anything, just the same automated reply about the freeze... for 3 years now. My balance is still there but they act like I can't touch it.
Here’s what I’ve gathered: Paxful shut down earlier this year after drama between the founders over financial issues. Now my account is banned on top of being frozen.

Yeah, I heard about that. They had a brief shutdown and now there’s a new platform called ‘noones’ popping up. They might have some responsibility for the funds. But I think they got hacked not long ago... not sure if your funds are safe with them.
Man, this teaches us a hard lesson about not using exchanges as wallets. With the recent hack and everything, it’s tough to be optimistic about getting your money back. If I remember right, they warned users to withdraw before shutting down.

Couldn’t agree more! Keeping money on exchanges is risky business, especially with all the hacks we see every year. Paxful did send emails urging people to withdraw, so if you didn’t act then... well, tough luck now.
Just to clarify, I wasn’t using it like a wallet. I was just trading USD for BTC. My stuff got frozen a year before the shutdown. No emails or anything about withdrawals, just found out about the ban when I checked in... and the funds are still visible.

I checked their site and saw the Telegram link doesn’t work anymore, but they’re active on X and Facebook. Have you tried reaching out to them there?
Thanks for the tip! I’ve posted on Reddit and X, but they just ignore or delete my complaints. Still thinking about trying to contact them directly.

It’s worth a shot! Good job starting this thread. Even if it doesn’t resolve your issue, it might help someone else avoid the same trap.
