What do you guys think about the legal issues surrounding TULIP and Nakamoto's wallets? I mean, they’re both filing claims saying they own the wallets. But if someone else holds the keys, isn’t that the real ownership? Also, these wallets have been dormant for ages, so does that change anything? Would it have to be settled in court, especially depending on where it’s claimed?

Faketoshi is just a clown, honestly. He definitely doesn't control the keys like he claims. Courts can't touch Bitcoin itself, so their decisions won’t change much in the grand scheme of things. Plus, the real owners probably want to stay under the radar since they're loaded. You might never find out who they are or if they're the real Satoshi.

Having access to private keys means you can control your coins, but it doesn't always mean legal ownership. It's a bit of a gray area for sure.

Wright's already been called out thanks to signed messages from some addresses he claims are his. So yeah, those keys definitely belong to someone else: not Satoshi, but definitely not his either.
