So there are reports out now saying that the NFL lobbied the SEC about blockchain stuff from July to December last year. Pretty wild. And now we hear crypto ads are gonna be all over the Super Bowl this Sunday. Anyone think this lobbying will actually change how the SEC deals with crypto?

Honestly, it’s hard to say anything without more details on what exactly the NFL was pushing for. Seems kinda vague right now.

If this lobbying (sounds a lot like bribery tbh) works out, we might see a ton of crypto ads during the Super Bowl. That would be huge for the industry since billions watch the game. I doubt they'll change their stance on crypto completely, but maybe they'll make some exceptions if this lobbying gets traction.
I feel like the NFL is just trying to make it easier to sell NFTs. Like, maybe they want to sell tickets as NFTs or offer upgrades to tickets. Can't think of another reason they’d bother with blockchain.
