New Signet Network Launched for Developers

Hey guys, Just wanted to share that I launched a new signet network because the old one was a pain for getting sBTC. It’s pretty unstable, and I figured developers could use something better. Isn’t testnet4 more stable than testnet3? I heard you can mine new coins on a CPU there. Plus, if you adjust your timestamps 20 minutes ahead, you can mine blocks easily on both testnet3 and testnet4. And yeah, some testnet4 code made it into testnet3, so running a new client should help with stability. Getting sBTC from the official signet is possible too, right? I saw something about using OP_CAT for contracts.

I already mentioned the issues with testnet3 and 4 in my other post. For the mining code, I’ve been using the signet mining program from Bitcoin Core, tweaked it a bit, and after testing, I’ll make it open source. Should help everyone out! Let’s see if this new signet really makes a difference.
