what's up everyone, just joined here! I whipped up this little script about a year ago. I’ve been using it on puzzle 66 keys but had no luck. Now I'm trying it on puzzle 67 and thought I'd share it with you guys. It’s a basic CPU script that scans a range of private keys in decimal format. Perfect for older machines. My Ryzen 5 5600x can handle around 40-50k keys per second.

hey, also new here. quick question, is puzzle 67 the one with that ~32 BTC prize for solving it? asking for a friend.

at that pace, you’d need some serious luck to find anything. gotta say, you might wanna look into a different tool.

I’m using Rotor Cuda on my second PC with an old GTX 1060 and it’s pumping out around 150 million keys per second. I’ve been learning Python too, trying to figure out how to scan private/public keys. I think using the ice library is the best way for fast public key generation. Check it out on GitHub for more info.

man, that’s a seriously slow rate for sequential keys on a CPU. A decent setup can hit at least 20 million pubKeys a second on a single thread.

appreciate the input! I’ve used better tools before, but I just upgraded my GPU. Right now, I’m doing about 500k keys with a vanity search. This CPU tool is for slower machines, so it’s not terrible for a first attempt. Good luck to everyone with puzzle 67!

if AlbertoBSD's keyhunt program runs at 10 million keys per second on my laptop, why bother with this? seriously, just go with his tool if you're on CPU.
