Did you guys see the new digital assets report? They’re saying blockchain tech is a big deal for the US economy now. Also, it looks like they want to promote dollar stablecoins over CBDCs. Seems like they’re really pushing for the digital dollar.

Yeah I checked it out... this is all about keeping the dollar on top. If they make it super easy to access dollars digitally, other countries will struggle to break free from the dollar's grip. It's crazy how the EU can’t even compete with dollar stablecoins. This is a major move to counter BRICS efforts.

Totally agree with you! It’s like they’re doubling down on stablecoins while shutting down CBDC talks. But honestly, isn’t the government just setting us up to take no responsibility if something goes wrong with these stablecoins? I don’t see much innovation happening yet... feels like we’re just circling back to private money.
