So the T19 is finally here, packs 84Th and pulls 3150W. That's around 37.5 J/TH. Pretty slick for home use, right? Oh, but by the time it gets delivered in June, it’s already sold out. Resellers might still have it though.

Right, but no low power modes again? Seems like they really want to keep the features for the higher-end models. What gives?
I dunno, maybe they think the T models don’t handle low power well? Idk, just a guess. Still, it’s a pain when you need those options.
For real, this seems more like a marketing stunt than anything else. You can easily downclock these without issues, I’ve had great luck with other Bitmain products at reduced speeds.
Honestly, I think this new gear is overpriced. Ever since the 15 series, they’ve been breaking down left and right. Heard farms reporting serious failure rates on the 17 series. Why wouldn’t the 19 be the same?
Yeah, I get that. I’ve had a good run with the S17 and T17 models, no failures yet. But I agree, let’s not push them to max specs. Dropping it to 80Th and downclocking sounds way better.
