Hey everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to add a donation widget on my WordPress site. I want it to allow people to enter their card details (like card number and CVV) and choose the amount to donate, say $100. Then they should be able to pick a cryptocurrency from a list like Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. Any tech solutions or plugins you guys recommend?
I think there are some plugins that could help you out. There used to be options like cryptopayments or coinpayments, but they don’t exactly have the features you want anymore. They mainly just let you receive crypto donations. If you want a custom box, you might have to dig into a payment processor plugin. There are lists available, like the one I found, that can help too.
Honestly, I don’t think that exact service you’re looking for exists yet. As @user2 mentioned, you could explore some services like BitPay Send that allow you to receive chosen cryptocurrencies. But I’d suggest just sticking with fiat donations and converting them manually, way simpler.
