Mining Bitcoin on Ubuntu: Is It Possible?

Hey, I’m totally lost on how to mine BTC using Ubuntu. Can anyone help me out?

Ubuntu’s just Linux software, right? It can't mine anything by itself, especially not BTC. What kind of hardware are you working with? If it’s not ASIC, mining BTC won’t be realistic.

If you like Linux, consider Hive OS. You can mine altcoins or even use NiceHash to earn BTC. Hive OS is pretty user-friendly for mining, takes only a few minutes to set up. Ubuntu is trickier with GPU settings, though.

Nah, not for direct BTC mining. You could rent it on NiceHash for a couple of cents daily and get paid in BTC, but honestly, you might end up losing money. Better ask in the altcoin section.
