Hey everyone. So I’m trying to figure out Bitcoin and all this blockchain stuff. I got a few questions that probably sound dumb but bear with me. First off, if Bitcoin is super valuable, how do you actually spend it? Like, if I walk into a store that says they accept Bitcoin and I have one BTC but only wanna buy something worth $50, how does that work? Do I get change back?

You can actually get change in Bitcoin. When you make a purchase, the exact amount you're spending goes to the seller, and the rest comes back to you. The Bitcoin network handles all that. And yeah, Bitcoin can be divided into smaller units called satoshis, which is the smallest unit of Bitcoin.

Exactly. It's like how dollars work. If you pay $10 for something worth $0.50, you get change, right? Bitcoin works the same way but with 8 decimal places. Your wallet takes care of it automatically. It's peer-to-peer money with no central authority.

Bitcoin can be split as tiny as 0.00000001 BTC (that's 1 satoshi). So if 1 BTC is $100,000 and you buy something for $50, you'd send the equivalent of $50 in Bitcoin and get the rest back to your wallet. Just watch out for transaction fees since you won’t get back the full amount.

There are plenty of places online that accept Bitcoin. You just gotta look around for them. Most sites don’t advertise it directly, but payment processors manage it, so they might just ask if you wanna pay with crypto.

I actually pay my Dish TV bill with Bitcoin every month. Works pretty smoothly.

I think Bitcoin is cool, but not the best for small purchases. There are better payment methods for that. It's more like having your own bank, where you can easily send money internationally without needing a middleman.
