Looking for Reliable Miners Hosting Services

Hey everyone, I’m on the lookout for solid mining hosting services. Got 10 S21s to host and need a place with good electricity rates and security. Gotta make sure my gear and hashrate are safe from theft.

What country are you in? I’m using a service in Iowa that seems decent. They have a YouTube channel and a website, pretty okay pricing but there are cheaper options out there. My gut says they’re honest.

10 cents per kWh and a $50 setup fee? Not sure any SHA256 miner can pull a profit at that rate. Maybe LTC or Doge miners could manage it. But yeah, integrity matters as much as price. Many hosting companies are sketchy.

$50 for installing an ASIC is actually a good deal. But with those electricity rates, you’re gonna be paying a lot more for hosting than you’re mining. Check this site for miner profitability at 10 cents per kWh.

$50 for setup isn't cheap, that's like a month or two of earnings. It takes no time to set up a miner, honestly, it shouldn’t cost more than $10 at most.

I meant the total setup fee, some companies charge for every kilowatt used during installation. If your ASIC is in a data center, it’s pricey, but secure. If you’re putting it in a random warehouse, that costs a lot too.

I saw one hosting company offer $20 and Compass Mining claims zero setup fee. So why the heck are some charging per kilowatt? Is it for all the extra stuff like PDU and wiring? If so, what service am I actually getting for 10 cents per kWh?

Let’s break it down. A container for 360 ASICs costs about $20k. Factor in delivery and installation costs too. That’s around $55.55 per ASIC just for space. So if a company charges $60-90 per ASIC, that doesn’t seem unfair.

When you say setup, you mean just unboxing and plugging in, right? That stuff is basic. If I’m paying for infrastructure, what’s the host actually doing? If I send 300 miners, do I pay for the whole container and then pay fees too?

Avoid hosting companies if you can. They tend to be shady. Had a bad experience where I bought over $100k in miners. At the end of the term, they refused to send them back, saying they had to sell them for me. What a mess.

When you put your server in a data center, you pay once for the space and then for maintenance and electricity. If there’s no space fee, you’re getting scammed with high electricity rates.
