Hey everyone, I’m on the lookout for a forum where I can share and brainstorm ideas about new cryptocurrency projects. Feels like the usual spots are too focused on trading and existing coins. I want to talk about fresh implementations like back in the day when crypto was just kicking off. Any suggestions?

Honestly, I don’t know any other forums, but I think this place can be good for deep discussions. Yes, there’s all that noise about low-quality coins, but if you bring value, you’ll find smart folks to chat with. Maybe start a new topic? You can guide the convo in a meaningful way.

Yeah, try hitting up the Dev & Tech section. Just steer clear of going on about specific altcoins. For instance, if you want to discuss something like "Full-Chain Membership Proofs Development," go for it! Just don’t make it all about one coin. If you want a Monero crowd, their announcement thread is the way to go.

Back in the early days, the Altcoin Discussion section used to be awesome for this kind of stuff. Proof of Stake got its roots here in the Dev area, and it was buzzing back when altcoins were still a new thing. If you scroll back to 2011 threads, sure, there were a lot of talks about coins, but some wild ideas popped up too, which was refreshing.

This could work, yeah. As long as OP focuses on the tech behind the projects and doesn’t just shill coins. This place has the right crowd for serious discussions, just need to approach it smartly to draw people in.
