I need a better quality image of The Times from Jan 3, 2009. The one I found looks decent: https://talkimg.com/images/2024/01/15/3fefd.png. Anyone got something sharper? Thinking about making a poster.

That frame looks amazing! Using that image is cool, but just check for copyright before you get into trouble. I'll keep hunting for a better one too.
That other image you shared is stunning! But man, the price and shipping are way too high. I wanna DIY it.
I stumbled upon this image too while looking around. It’s not bad and making it yourself sounds like a solid plan.
Wow that price is insane! Your choice is nice, but I kinda prefer the first one. If you can craft that frame, go for it. Can’t wait to see the final result!
Just wait till you see the actual newspaper's price! Not sure if it’s legit or a scam though. But honestly, it's probably the rarest Bitcoin collectible out there, even rarer than the cacascius coins.
Honestly, I think that https://talkimg.com/images/2024/01/15/3fefd.png is solid. The headline is recent too, like "Israel prepares to send tanks and troops into Gaza." Perfect for sparking conversations at our store. Quick question: does it mention Bitcoin and who paid for it?

The image quality is decent enough. You can actually read the small print which is rare for these papers. Most images I find online are so blurry you can't see a thing! I could show you some terrible examples if you want.
Have you tried one of those free AI tools to upscale the image? Like the ones I found on Twitter? They might help enhance it.

Haha, the one from electronicash is literally the same as what BlackHatCoiner posted. I totally get the sarcasm.
You can use reverse image search tools like tinEye to find bigger images. Or check out The Times archive but you'll need a subscription.
Here’s a big one I found: https://nft-arty.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/814bbyhj7zs.jpg. Also check this out: https://yandex.ru/images/search/?cbir_id=165367%2FAfM7WP9doRHHIhOfml2Vyw342.
Coingecko's post on X has a pretty good resolution. I used Google and tweaked the search settings to find larger images.

These are all from the 3GM version. Anyone have photos of the 1GM version?
What’s GM?

If you check the bottom left or the top near the number, there’s usually a small text indicating the version of the newspaper. I see 3GM in this pic. Here’s another one from a scarce.city auction that’s also 3GM.

There’s a site dedicated to this newspaper with info, sales, and available copies. They even have a gallery page. Might be worth checking out: https://www.thetimes03jan2009.com/gallery/. Not sure about the image quality, but you might find a high-res version there.

I’ve seen a few on SCARCE too; maybe they have high-res images? Check out the Collectibles board here, sometimes they pop up for sale.
