So apparently Estonia's been revoking a ton of crypto licenses. Like, 1800 gone and only 400 left. It’s wild...better pull any funds from these exchanges until things clear up.
Licensing Woes for Crypto in Estonia?

Wait, what about P2P exchanges like Paxful? I’ve got $2k stuck there because I refuse to do KYC. If they can’t operate in Estonia, what’s going to happen to my cash?
Just so everyone knows, the Estonian anti-money laundering head can’t just revoke licenses. It might need actual law changes. That said, their words do matter, but other officials have differing opinions too. Changes are likely coming.

True, I always thought Estonia was pretty crypto-friendly. But if they’re going after licenses, it’s kinda self-sabotage, right? Countries that ditch Bitcoin are risking their future.
What happens if these platforms just ignore the rules? The government might need to step in and shut them down. They want to clean up Estonia's rep as a haven for non-compliant crypto businesses.

Seems silly to hand out licenses only to yank them back later. I think it's mostly gonna hurt exchanges and some gambling sites. I saw a list of exchanges registered in Estonia, many of which look sketchy. 🚩 Withdraw your coins from these if you hold there: B2BX, P2PB2B, Coinsbit, White.
I’m not super into this, but if a company keeps operating without a license, it could lead to criminal charges. The whole setup matters if they just use Estonia as a front, can’t see them getting away with it.

Yeah, I get the whole freedom vibe, but regulation is on the horizon! If we want crypto to go mainstream, tighter KYC and rules are a must. Unless we create our own crypto island, it's unavoidable.
