I think we can all agree that the crypto world is full of wild claims and misleading ads. Let’s gather the most ridiculous posts and statements to have a laugh and maybe a bit of a roast. New stuff is great but old gems are welcome too.

True, this is a perfect spot for that. Like, take that unstoppable wallet thing. They’re out here trash-talking hardware wallets while trying to promote their own. Kinda sketchy when they can't even handle low bitcoin fees properly.

Ledger is at it again. Remember their recovery scheme? Now they’re pushing something even worse, which just fuels more fear among users. Sending recovery phrases to third parties? What were they thinking?

Totally remember that Exolix incident when they sent stolen funds to a user. Just shows they don’t really care about security. Now they’re making it easier for third parties to see sensitive swap data like it’s all normal.

Speaking of nonsense, remember when PayPal acted like they were this huge deal because you could ‘buy, sell, hold’ Bitcoin? They were just selling contracts, not real coins. Big hype for nothing.

If the new features turn out to be vulnerabilities, we’re all in trouble. It’s like we’re trusting these wallets to keep our coins safe, but if they mess up, our trust is gone.

Yep, that’s what happens. But I’d rather focus on the latest nonsense than old stuff. All exchanges have messed up promises about user safety at some point. It’s a trend.

Honestly, I’m glad they’re showing their true colors. Who thought letting third parties handle our seed phrases was a good idea? Total joke.

I’m curious how many people signed up for Ledger Recover. They’ll never give us numbers. Plus, it’s scary knowing those third parties could work with governments to take our funds.

They never directly lied, but it’s all about trust. Does that bitkey thing fit in here? Sounds like more of the same trust us vibe.

Why even bother with seed phrases when you have a hardware wallet with no display? Just trust us, bro! At least the new one has a screen, but the old model? Yikes.

If your hardware wallet isn't open-source and decentralized, just ditch it. Companies like Ledger are not the way to go for beginners. It’s key to do your homework.

Kind of off-topic, but I notice influencers rehashing old clips to seem relevant when markets move. So annoying. When you see that, it’s time to be cautious.

Chipper Cash is another one. They say they offer crypto services, but good luck withdrawing when the platform is ‘under maintenance.’ They should just stick to payments.

Seriously, marketing teams are wild. They’ll use any trick to gain users’ trust and make them forget the nonsense they’re peddling. Remember that “volatility is dead” line from last year? Ridiculous.

Yeah, I’ve seen that too. They recycle old news like it’s breaking. It’s always the same players throwing around old clips to create hype.

Exactly! PayPal’s initial hype was all about adding a non-existent feature. And don’t get me started on El Salvador’s whole Bitcoin legal tender thing. It’s still a huge question mark.

The BTC airdrop got people excited, but how many actually use it for daily transactions? I doubt the government’s claims about buying BTC daily too.

I bet the actual usage is super low. I’ve looked for user experiences, and it’s always the same story. People want to use BTC, but they’re not seeing it.

If anyone still trusts Ledger after all this, they need to rethink things. Same goes for a lot of altcoins. But hey, people trust politicians too and that’s a whole other mess.
