Before you say yes or no, consider this. I saw a post about a successful patient trader who doesn't use stop losses. Unlike many folks who don’t trade but preach about stop losses, this guy’s doing fine. Not every trading strategy needs a stop loss. Sometimes it’s about being patient and letting profits grow slowly.

Yeah, I get where you're coming from. But trading without a stop loss? That's risky. It’s all about your plan, though. If you’re comfortable without one, cool. Just don’t let stubbornness mess things up if the market turns.

Stop loss is essential for any asset. It really depends on how you trade. Personally, I’d never go without one. The way some traders handle their use is wild. I keep mine low and stable. Even at high use, I minimize risk.

Are you talking long-term holding? In that case, stop losses aren't needed. But for regular trades, I’d say it's wise to use one. I need to have that safety net. If my risk/reward isn’t at least 1:2, I’m not in.

I’m trying to follow your thoughts, but your sentences are a bit long. It’s hard to grasp your point. Telling someone to skip stop losses totally misses the mark. Even if you're trading lightly, you need some risk management!

Trading without stop losses is a choice, not a rule. You can make your own strategy. Remember, stop losses are a recent development. Traders used to manually manage trades without them. Now, it’s just convenient.

Same here, I find stop losses key. They prevent unnecessary losses for me. Some don’t use them, but it’s a comfort for me to have that safeguard. Without it, I feel like my strategy is incomplete.

You’re spot on about needing stop losses for futures trading. It saves you from liquidation. When you’re in spot trading and holding long-term, you don’t need to stress your capital. But with use, always set that stop loss.

I see your point, but isn’t using 0.2x use basically a stop loss in itself? You’re only risking what you can afford to lose. Some traders do well without huge use and still use stop losses just to be cautious.

Good insight! While not every strategy requires a stop loss, newbies should be careful. Trading with low capital in a volatile market is risky. A reasonable stop loss can save you from major losses.

Stop loss is vital for me. When I’m in profit, I set it to secure those gains. If prices drop, I won’t lose anything. I aim to avoid regret over losses.

I disagree with ditching stop losses altogether. Risking it all is a rookie move. Many traders have lost fortunes because they didn’t use stop losses when they should have. It’s about protecting your capital.

Stop losses are a critical part of risk management, especially in high-use trading. I prefer spot trading where I can set my own price points without worrying about liquidation risks.

Traders might skip stop losses for various reasons. With isolated trades, your risks are limited to your margin. If you liquidate, it’s just that amount. Still, be careful about holding too long.

That’s true, but stop losses can protect against massive losses. It’s a simple tool and worth using. If you step away from your screen, you want that safety net.

In any trading market, using a stop loss is key. It helps protect your funds from wild price swings which could lead to big losses or liquidations.

For me, I always use a stop loss. It’s not really about the size; it’s more about protecting my trades from unexpected moves and keeping things manageable.

Yeah, in some scenarios, you might not need a stop loss. But keep in mind, if you’re shorting, the market won’t just jump and liquidate you. Just be smart about your trades.

Depends on the market moves. If it’s volatile, I’ll set a stop loss and watch closely. When it’s calmer, I’ll keep the app open occasionally. But always remember that high use is risky.

Trading strategy matters. If you’re swing trading, you might not need a stop loss unless something big is about to happen, like a sharp drop in Bitcoin. If a support level breaks, it’s wise to set one.
