Sounds like classic exit talk, right before someone leaves the job. Gotta wonder if there's more to it.

Honestly, Gensler's like the ultimate antagonist in the crypto saga. Remember how he seemed cool with Bitcoin back in his MIT days? Now? Total 180.
I wouldn't call him a villain. He’s just caught in the political crossfire. If he goes, the next guy might be even worse.
So how does the SEC decide things? Can Gensler actually change anything or is it a bigger machine?

No idea how they operate, but no doubt Gensler's been a headache for crypto fans. But hey, he did approve that Bitcoin ETF, credit where it's due.
Totally trolling us. First tweet seemed like a goodbye, but then he says ‘we’re not done’… like, what’s that about?
From what I understand, the SEC chair’s power is pretty limited. Even if he finds issues, it’s up to the commission to vote on them.
Not sure a new chair is gonna change much. Policies take time to shift, especially when the SEC's not exactly pro-Bitcoin.
First tweet felt like he’s quitting, but other tweets kinda kill that vibe. His term’s not up till 2026 anyway.

I’d welcome a new face at the top. Positivity, maybe. But yeah, policy changes don’t happen overnight.
He’s not going anywhere lol. Only getting removed for serious misconduct or something. He's got till 2026.
Uncle Gary’s ramping up against crypto, no doubt. Just look at what they’re doing with Uniswap and MetaMask.
CFTC saying Ether's a commodity again? That’s wild. Gary might be fighting a losing battle with Ethereum soon.
Congress can’t kick him out. President’s got the power there. It’s tough to see him go.
SEC had no real issues with Bitcoin, but they seem clueless about crypto’s true nature.
Not sure if we can handle life without Gary! He’s become part of the SEC’s identity, like it or not.
Yeah, he’s probably just playing us! Said ‘we’re not done’ makes it sound like more actions are coming.

You think he’ll go after the big names in crypto? Bet he’s got a list.
Gensler didn’t completely lose against Ripple. They’ll still pay fines. It’s not over yet.
Good point! That Ripple ruling could change the game for how tokens are issued. Proof of work might make a comeback!
