Is This Tool Trustworthy?

Just saw a post the other day about this tool. It’s in Chinese and claims to convert seed phrases into private keys. Kinda sketchy if you ask me... I feel like it’s a trap.

Yeah, I remember that post. The guy definitely lifted code from iancoleman.io. My guess is he translated it to Chinese and probably put some backdoor in there to swipe people's seed phrases. Can’t trust it.

If someone's using GPT for documentation, that's a huge red flag. Totally screams scam. You don't even need to check the site to know that.

I’m almost certain it’s a scam too. When I hit 'Generate,' it always makes a POST request. The data is weird different every time. Gonna leave some negative karma for those dudes.

Best bet is to grab the standalone version from GitHub. Just download the bip39-standalone.html file and run it in your browser. Way safer, trust me.

Yeah, that’s a good suggestion. But honestly, I wouldn’t recommend using iancoleman for seed phrases anyway. It's all JavaScript, you know? Not the best setup.
