DaveF started a thread that’s kinda misleading and he’s deleting my replies like crazy. Here’s what he said:
I don’t do Reddit so I guess I’ll take your word for it. But hey, that post is still there while pro-BIP110 stuff gets wiped off here. This place is basically pro-spam and anti-BIP110, and the censorship is unreal.
Is Knots/BIP110 Really Planning a Fork?

For sure. After block 961632, Knots will jump to another chain if most miners don’t back it. It’s not part of Bitcoin Core. Just an alternative client built on it.
Why wait 10 years? Well, since BIP-110, it’s set to fork if it’s in the minority after that block.
There’s no doubt BIP110 is gonna fork. That’s literally in the name: reduced data temporary soft fork.
People say the code was secretly made to hard fork, and they think preferential peering is part of that sneaky plan. But that’s just wrong. BIP110 is based on Knots 29 and they've always had preferential peering for reasons unrelated to any hard fork.
Fork? Like another Bitcoin Cash?
Seen this movie before. They can fork, but I’m selling those forked coins ASAP.

Honestly, CoreRulezKnotsAreFulez crossed the line before in other threads. I didn’t want that in this one.
I don’t get why some folks are struggling with this. There are tons of posts to share views on what’s coming in August. Having one spot for tech talk isn’t a bad idea.
I spent a while looking through BIP-110 articles, and I can’t find anything mentioning preferential peering. It seems kinda hidden, right?
Why’s that not mentioned? It looks like a sneaky way to push BIP-110 nodes to be the majority.
Nah, not selling right away. Gonna hold for a few months until the next BTC cycle peaks. Like when BCH forked, you could’ve sold them for a lot right after but waited and made way more.

One thing I learned from the last fork is this:
A pint of blood costs more than a gallon of satoshi. Fork away, but these fights are costing us money.
I’d rather convert my coins to BTC instead of cashing out.
BHC was at 1/10 during the fork and pushed to almost 0.5 BTC for a hot minute, but then it tanked fast.
Replying to DaveF so he can’t just delete my posts for dumb reasons.
LibreRelay does preferential peering. Does that mean they’re trying to hard fork Bitcoin? Knots has done this for over 12 years. Does that mean they were planning a hard fork way back before Segwit and B-cash?
I should be able to transfer between my two addresses until all my BTC is spent on fees.
That could take a ton of transactions at the lowest fees. You think that should be flagged as spam? Get your bucket ready for the tears.

If your node doesn’t send the full mempool, it’s just making mine work harder to get transactions.
-Dave
Your node is just poorly designed. You download and verify transactions twice. It's wasteful.
Plus, which transactions are you verifying twice? They’re all spam. You have to ban other nodes to handle it better.
I’m posting here instead of on DaveF’s topic to keep the tech discussion clean.
Accusing original Bitcoin supporters of redefining Bitcoin while pushing for financial and non-financial transaction splits is just a low blow.
I’m not alone in saying there’s a difference between monetary transactions and junk ones.
Satoshi made it clear that some stuff doesn’t belong on the Bitcoin chain. Back then, no one asked if the sender of a Lady Gaga video would pay fees. It was obviously malware.
