Is it better to keep miners on all the time?

Hey guys, I'm trying to find out if it's good to turn off my miners every few days. I usually do it for an hour, but I’m not sure if that helps or just hurts them. I have some Avalon 851s and wanna get your thoughts on this.

Turning them on and off might actually do more harm than good. If you keep them running in a clean, cool spot, they should be fine. Also, be careful about your power supply. Fluctuations in voltage can mess things up bad.

Definitely keep them on. The constant cooling and heating messes with the solder joints, plus it puts stress on those chip interfaces. Not worth the risk.
