People have been calling Bitcoin a risky store of value since it has only been around for a short time compared to gold, especially during conflicts.

In the last 15 years we've seen wars in Ukraine and Gaza, but this current Iran situation could be the real big one. Anyone think this will really test Bitcoin's value perspective?
Honestly, during a war, who’s really thinking about Bitcoin’s value? But hey, it looks like Bitcoin’s doing pretty well, hitting $70k while stocks are tanking. Got your answer right there.

What’s the deal? War doesn’t uniformly shake up everything, just look at gold. Markets need to show some reaction across the board, not just for BTC.
Just because there's a conflict doesn’t mean people will pour money into Bitcoin. Short-term reactions matter less; it’s the longer-term impacts like regulations and restrictions that count.

Seriously? The bigger concern is human lives... Bitcoin will drop and recover like it always does. It’s borderless and won't be limited by economies affected by war.
We can’t ignore that with rising tensions, conflicts like the US-Iran one could escalate. Remember how BTC reacted to Ukraine? That could happen again.

Bitcoin isn’t showing major shocks yet, hovering around $60k-$70k. It doesn’t seem like this conflict is enough to change that, but what do I know?

The conflict just kicked off. Bitcoin’s already reacted a bit to the news, but the real effects will show over time. People in war zones will likely see BTC as a lifeline.
From where I stand, Bitcoin’s becoming a bigger part of international finance. With ETFs and institutional interest, it’s here to stay, despite all the drama.
Look, war isn’t just a Bitcoin thing, it’s about the whole financial ecosystem. If global markets crash, BTC will feel the burn too.
What’s the fear here? Bitcoin’s gonna fluctuate as always. The law of supply and demand doesn’t just stop because of wars. Gold goes up in conflicts, that’s normal.

Each conflict has its own effects, but we can’t draw quick conclusions about Bitcoin’s value based on a single instance. It tends to be volatile no matter what.
Yeah but comparing BTC to stocks during war is tricky. Stocks are tied to fears of big companies, Bitcoin is a different beast. Just look at oil prices.

Been thinking about these comparisons lately. The Ukraine conflict, the current situation... It’s all a big unknown. Who knows how BTC will really respond?
Bitcoin already showed its resilience, climbing from below $65k to $70k recently. Can't generalize performance based on this regional conflict, even if it matters in the energy sector.

Totally agree. BTC was still up today despite the chaos and it’s hard not to talk about its potential in these moments.

Interesting point about Iran's cheap electricity. If there’s no crackdown on mining, the hash rate could jump, which might affect BTC prices.
The outflows from Iranian crypto exchanges show Bitcoin’s potential as a safe haven when banks restrict access. That’s powerful.
The market's reaction shows no extreme panic. War news isn't scaring traders like it used to. There's a growing familiarity with such events.
