So, when you send Bitcoin, it’s like transferring value over the network. It all gets logged, and anyone can peek at it using a block explorer.

First things first, people gotta wrap their heads around how Bitcoin transactions actually work.

To track stuff, you need specific info like transaction hashes, addresses, or block IDs. Simple enough, right?

Block height isn’t the main thing for tracking a transaction’s status. It’s all about that transaction ID.

Not gonna lie, it’s just one step: look up the transaction ID on an explorer. Nothing more. Forget about checking other stuff like dates.

And if you send out 0.3 BTC from an address with 0.5 BTC, you’ll have two outputs. One goes to the recipient, the other is change back to you.

Honestly, sounds like you might wanna double-check your facts before explaining things to others. Just sayin’.

You did well gearing it for beginners, but maybe sharpen the title a bit. It’s more about what transactions are, not just tracking them. It’ll help boost your knowledge too.

A single confirmation is fine for most cases, but if you’re chunking out large sums, stick with 3-6 confirmations just to be safe.

Exactly, if fees are too low, a transaction might get ignored by miners. You can totally be stuck with 0 confirmations.

Totally! Maybe the OP implied that the transaction is just waiting to get picked up by some miner.

Great point, but the title needs a tweak. It’s about understanding the transaction more than just tracking it. Consider creating another thread for explorers.

Not sure why you’d think fees or sizes could track transactions. That info’s just misleading, fam.

If you wanna track Bitcoin better, have you tried Arkham’s tools? They’re good for visualizing money flows instead of sifting through raw data.

Tracking on explorers is key but remember, they’re just tools that show mempool activity. It’s about understanding what’s pending and how fees work.
