Is this the right place to ask? How can I speed up my Bitcoin transaction? It seems stuck. A friend suggested mempool space, but the accelerator isn't working... Maybe I set too low a fee?
What wallet you using? Some come with features like RBF and CPFP. RBF lets you increase the fee for your unconfirmed transaction, usually the best route.
What fee did you set? I thought 1 sat/vB was the minimum. With fees low right now, your transaction should still get confirmed. If you want to accelerate, maybe just try the free option, but no guarantees... that fujn site I found didn’t help much.
Actually, 1 sat/vbyte isn’t the lowest anymore. Miners are including transactions under that fee for a while now. Last block included ones under 0.2 sat/vbyte.
Make sure your wallet is non-custodial, with coin control and RBF opt-in for the Replace By Fee option. Child Pays For Parents is another way, but yeah, RBF is easier.
Why’s your transaction stuck? Current mempool looks fine and blocks are showing 0 sat/vB. What wallet did you use, and what fee did you set? Share your TXID and maybe I can help rebroadcast it.
Shouldn't be a big deal to get your transaction confirmed, fees are cheap. Like others said, 0.2 sat/vB should work. Are you sending from many small inputs? That usually costs more. Check out this viabtc accelerator too.
Yeah, more inputs/outputs can inflate size and fees, but the fee rate doesn't change based on that. Same fee rate means same priority, no matter how many inputs/outputs you have.
