So, it looks like Steak 'n Shake is planning to give Bitcoin as a form of payment to their employees. Sounds cool, right? I mean, getting paid in BTC is something many of us dream of. They’re talking about $0.21 worth of BTC for every hour worked starting from March 1st. Seems like a neat way to attract workers, especially with their history of accepting Bitcoin for payments.

Uh, not exactly what you think. They’re not paying in Bitcoin directly, just giving a bonus of $0.21 per hour worked. And here's the kicker: you can only claim it after 2 years! Like, if you work 10 hours a day, that’s only gonna get you about $52.50 worth of BTC weekly if you stick around for two years. Sounds more like a long-term DCA plan than actual payment.

There’s already a thread talking about this. The whole Steak 'n Shake paying workers in Bitcoin thing seems to be covered there. Just a heads-up that we could keep all future discussions in one place.

Oh, I get it now! Thanks for the heads-up. No need to clutter things up. I’ll just lock this thread since we’ve got that other discussion going strong. Appreciate it!
