Looks like you're spot on. If it runs at 3250 W, you’d be using around 2340 kWh monthly. Just remember to account for any extra cooling if needed. If we say 15¢ per kWh, that puts your bill at about $351. But hey, that’s still profit right?

Solid advice from BitMaxz, but just keep a couple things in mind.1) Mining difficulty and BTC price fluctuate so your numbers could change.2) This is basically a space heater and can get hot.3) It’s LOUD, seriously loud. Not a great fit for a quiet room. And don't hesitate to ask questions here, most folks will help.

Appreciate the tips, Dave. I’m thinking of setting mine up in the garage/office. The noise is gonna be rough, so I’m planning to build a soundproof box and I’ll need airflow holes too. Got some concerns though: Is 15 feet enough distance for neighbors? Will my wife hate it, considering it's 30-40 feet away from where we sleep?

15 feet might be tricky. Every time you double the distance, you lose about 6dB. It starts at 81 dB right up close, but at 15 feet, you're down to around 52 dB. Could be background noise, but those high-speed fans? They don’t stop, just keep that in mind.

LOL, the noise is real! It’s louder than you think. Give your loudest appliance a test in the garage and see how it sounds outside. Might be a good way to gauge if you need soundproofing. Trust me, you might be in for a surprise.

I’ve tried a bunch of soundproofing ideas. Most don’t really work like you think. A closed box doesn’t fix fan noise. You might get some sound reduction with ducts, but it won’t kill the noise completely. Just saying, long ducts could lead to overheating.

Quick question: is the S19j Pro 104T better than the MicroBT M30S+ 102T for a newbie? How’s the noise? Also, I’m sketching my soundproof box design with fire-retardant foam and 3/4 MDF. Thoughts?

For your power cables, do C13 x NEMA 6-20P cables work? Couldn’t find much info.

You just need to ensure the cables are at least 16ga, though 14ga is better. Check stayonline.com. Good deals and they’re made in the USA.

If you want reliability, go MicroBT every time. The fan noise is kinda similar, but the Whatsminer has slightly louder fans.
