Let's talk about holding Bitcoin for passive income. What do you guys think, is it realistic to think we can get $100k yearly if we hold long enough?
Holding Bitcoin for Long-term Passive Income: Is It Possible?

Seems a bit optimistic, don’t you think? Like, you expect Bitcoin to hit $1 million in a decade? Gonna need a massive market boost for that.
Right? Looking back, Bitcoin's market cap went from 3.5B to 2.2T in ten years... so to think it could rise 10x again? That's wild.

For sure! But we shouldn't just look at inflow numbers. Market dynamics are key, it’s all about supply and demand.

Exactly! People chase these clean projections but forget it's all about cycles. You can’t just assume constant growth.

I want to know if OP has actually tried earning that $100k a year. Sounds too good to be true.
Gotta say, if you think Bitcoin just keeps going up forever, you’re in for a surprise. Market cap limits how far it can climb.

Why not just keep your Bitcoin locked away, why sell? Honestly, the best plan might be to hold it long-term.
100k a year sounds great, but taxes will eat into that a lot. I’d rather sell just enough to cover my expenses.

Hey, the government just prints money whenever... so really they could inflate the market. We’re gonna see a storm soon.

Many are aiming for Bitcoin at a million, but that's just wishful thinking. People forget how market caps work.
Who would sell Bitcoin if its purchasing power keeps rising? Better to earn and stash every cent in Bitcoin.
But you can't dismiss ETFs. They kinda helped Bitcoin soar, right? But it’s still a tough climb ahead.
C’mon, you can’t rely solely on past growth to predict future price. What if we hit another bear market?

Not calling that a good strategy, OP. What happens in a downturn? You're just selling off more coins for less profit.
These predictions are too outlandish. Bitcoin hitting 130M per coin? Seriously? The math just doesn’t add up.

Long-term holding is not a guaranteed profit machine. When you sell, you realize gains, not passive income.
Just because people call it passive income doesn’t mean it is! You’re just gradually selling your investment.

Totally agree. Holding Bitcoin isn’t the same as earning passive income like dividends from stocks.
I think it depends on how you define income. Profit from Bitcoin can be seen as income if you manage it right.
