No way you should hold BTC for 7-10 years straight. That’s like two halving cycles. Instead, buy low and sell high. Works better for a lot of us who dollar-cost average.

Yeah but if you gotta pay for stuff like school fees or tickets with Bitcoin, what’s the plan there? That could really change how it’s used.

Holding Bitcoin for that long is tough. Lots of urges to sell, especially with all the ups and downs. You gotta be mentally strong to ride it out.

You're right about Bitcoin spreading. Five years ago, it was hardly known. Now? Everyone’s in the loop. If you stick with it and invest correctly, you could totally see some financial success.
But some folks get impatient after a couple of years. They want to cash out. Sure, you can profit in two years, but you gotta think long-term too.

Honestly, I doubt people will start using BTC for payments. Most just wanna hold and trade it for more later. Other altcoins are way more practical for everyday transactions.

You can totally sell some of your Bitcoin during bull runs. It’s risky but can pay off. Just don’t forget to keep some for the next cycle.

Transaction fees and volatility are keeping businesses away from accepting BTC. They’d rather convert it instantly to avoid losses. Small businesses can’t afford that risk.
Satoshi wanted Bitcoin to be a currency, but it’s more of a rare asset now. It’s like digital gold. And once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.
Yeah, Bitcoin has changed a lot. Not everyone is happy about it, especially those old-school cyberpunks. But it’s become a top asset now.
Setting a long-term goal is cool, but breaking it down into smaller steps is key. Seven years is a long time, and many might give up before reaching their goals.
Totally agree, it’s fine to take profits along the way but never let go of your Bitcoin. Holding onto it is key.
What if you buy at the peak and the market crashes? Holding for just two years might not be enough. Better to wait through a full cycle.
You’ve got a point. A four-year cycle makes sense. You can ride the waves of both bull and bear markets.
Hodling for seven years is fine, but I’d also sell during cycles. Smart whales do that all the time to manipulate the market.
What’s exciting is Bitcoin is still a new asset. It’s gaining traction and becoming scarcer. That’s a solid reason to invest for the future.
If you don’t need the cash, why sell? Just wait for the next cycle and watch your profits grow.

Some traders can see returns quick, like buying low and selling high. But for long-term safety, holding for 4+ years is smart.
Seven to ten years feels like forever for those wanting quick returns. Waiting through multiple cycles can be tough.
